Class Structure
Championship (complex tests for lightweight cars)
Class 1 - Front-wheel and Rear-wheel drive specials
​Class 2 - Rear-wheel drive sports cars and kit cars (manufacturer’s defined wheelbase)
Class 3 - Saloons under 11’ 8” (3556 mm) in length (as defined in manufacturer’s catalogue)
Class 4 - Saloons of 11’ 8” (3556 mm), or greater in length (as defined in manufacturer’s catalogue)​
Challenge (open tests suitable for roadgoing cars)
A - All Mini Saloons.
B - Front wheel drive Mini Specials
B1 - Non-Mini Front wheel drive Specials
C - Rear wheel drive Sports Cars and Specials
D - Non-Mini Saloon Cars up to 1350cc
E - Non-Mini Saloons over 1350cc
F1 - FWD Road going cars, other than in classes A,B,C,D,E
F2 - RWD Road going cars, other than in classes A,B,C,D,E
