THE PATHWAY TO AUTOTESTING

What Championships are there?

There are a number of Championships throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland. There are also non-Championship events that take place around the island. These are fun, social and competitive days; perfect for dipping the toe into as your first event! Common to all events is the encouragement, support, advice and tips that are freely shared from organisers, marshals and fellow competitors.

PartsWorld Munster Championship

The PartsWorld Munster Autotest Championship is a friendly series that caters for all levels of experience. Beginners are encouraged and there is also a separate Novice Championship class.

TDC Club & Autotest Championships

The Trials Drivers Club are based in the Leinster area and run a variety of trials events, including beginners Autotests and Multi Venue Autotests, as part of their fun and competitive club championship that is tiered for Beginners / Novices / Semi-Experts and Experts.

Motorsport Ireland National Autotest Series

National level Autotesting events have multiple competitions rolled into one based on competitor skill level, and the type of cars involved. Challenge tests are suitable for roadgoing vehicles and are designed to be more open and flowing. The Championship tests are more suited to specialised lightweight vehicles and are generally tighter and more technical. The "Europa Cup" novice competition also uses the Challenge tests.

The MVAT League

A League dedicated to Multi Venue Autotests, comprising events run in Leinster, Connaught and Ulster. Enjoy the thrill of sliding cars around commercial premises, quarries and farmyards on a variety of surfaces.
